My dear Miss Gale,

Mrs. Post, who is the Chairman of the Program Committee for the Annual Meeting of the Woman's Peace Party in Philadelphia, on December 6th and 7th, has asked me to write you in reference to the meetings, as she is not quite sure of your address.

On Friday evening the meetings will close with a simple dinner at the Adelphia Hotel, where several speakers from the Woman's Peace Party will ↑speak↓ for about seven minutes each on some phase of the general question: The Rebuilding of the World. Mrs. Post wishes me to ask you to be one of these speakers and I know that Miss Addams, who is now in Colorado speaking for the Food Administration, wants very much to have you do this.

A copy of the tentative program will be sent to you tomorrow. It is now at the printer's.

I very much hope that you will be able to go to the meeting and in that case will be one of our speakers.

Very sincerely yours,

Office Secretary.

P.S. There will be no mass meeting this year.
