Biographical Text

William Lyon Mackenzie King was a political leader in Canada from the 1920s to 1940s. He served three terms as Liberal Prime Minister of Canada. King had a social work background and was influenced by Addams and Hull-House when he took his first government position as Deputy Minister in the newly established Department of Labour. King died in 1950 from pneumonia

King never married nor had children.
