Biographical Text

Luther H. Gulick was a physical education teacher. He helped found the Camp Fire Girls, now "Camp Fire", a youth organization, with his wife. He also helped develop basketball into an international sport. Gulick died in 1918.

Gulick married Charlotte Emily Vetter in 1887.
