Jane Addams to Paul Underwood Kellogg, July 30, 1917

Baymeath,
Bar Harbor, Maine.

My dear Mr Kellogg

If you go to France and England in Aug. please let me know by letter or telegram at Hull-House and I will send you letters -- [although] I am not sure but that letter from me would get you into trouble with the censor.

Mr Battin waited in England for 3 months to get [page 2] a boat from England to Norway. I suppose the worst feature of going abroad now are the chances for delay. We are leaving for Chicago tomorrow -- where some family matters are calling me.

I may send you something later on the C. O.

Always faithfully yours

Jane Addams
