My dear Mr. Lochner,

I am sending you one or two peace magazines although you may know them better than I do.

I hope so much you are going to have lots of opportunities to speak at once during this crisis. Mr. Hooker wants to arrange something from the City Club which is a good crowd to begin with. I wish you could be in New York on the twenty second when [page 2] the various peace people meet. A little of your solid, clarifying information would be a good thing for us.
