My dear Mr. Lane:
May I present to you Mr. Louis P. Lochner, who has been acting from the beginning as General Secretary for the Neutral Conference sitting in Stockholm, established by Mr. Ford. Mr. Lochner is in Washington hoping to make better passport arrangements before he returns to Europe, but I am sure you will be greatly interested in what he has to tell of the reception of the representatives of the Conference in the various foreign offices.
Hoping I am not presuming upon your courtesy, I am
Faithfully yours,
The Honorable Franklin Knight Lane,
