My dear Professor Hull:
My orders for California are two months, but I hope to be able to sail early in April both for the meeting of the International Committee of Women and the meeting of the Durable Peace organization called in Berne for that month.
We know so little of the actual working of the Ford plan that we certainly could not at present urge that anything else be combined with it. I had a letter from Mr. Bryan today in which he expresses his willingness to accept if he may go later and not be required to stay very long at a time.
Thanking you for your kind letter and hoping to see you in April, I am
Faithfully yours,
Jane Addams [signed]
