My dear Dr. Jacobs:

Miss Macmillan took over a copy of the Minutes signed by Madame Schwimmer and myself, but so many things are lost that I am sending this copy as well.

It was very nice to have your letter from the steamer, and I am anxious to hear from you after you have had an opportunity to see the situation in Holland.

I am sending this off hurriedly so that it may reach you as soon as possible, but will write you again within a few days.

Always cordially yours,

Jane Addams. [signed]

Dr. Aletta Jacobs
Amsterdam, Holland.
