My dear Mrs Maloney
Lieut. von Borosini who is a prisoner of war in England just now, has asked me to send you the [enclosed] five pounds. His letter says only -- "Please send to Mrs Maloney c/o Dr Maloney 40 East 62d St N.Y. five pounds from the German captain of artillery whom Dr M. attended when wounded." It gives me much pleasure to conform with his request. [page 2] I saw Lieut von Borosini a few weeks ago when he was very well.
