My dear Mrs Blaine

The program at the Chicago Woman's Club for next Wednesday will be on Child Labor. The speakers are Dr Felix Adler, Mrs McFadyn and myself. Perhaps it is because I have arranged the program that I think the discussion is going to be a genuine one, but Mrs McFadyn certainly knows about the condition of the children in the Southern Cotton mills and if she tells [page 2] the rest of us, there is no doubt that our emotions will be genuine.

I am sending two cards in case you may care to bring a friend and I hope very much that you may be able to come—

Faithfully yours

Jane Addams
