My dear Mr Ross:-

The subject of the paper which you invite me to give before the sociologist society next winter is very enticing and in spite of the fact that it is always difficult for me to be away in the week between Christmas and New Year, I think that I will accept. Will you kindly let me know at the earliest possible moment the exact day of the paper that I may arrange the Christmas entertainments here with that in mind? I thank you for the very kind things you write concerning "The Spirit of Youth and the City Streets."
