HULL'S COVE
MAINE

Dear Lady

Mr Crane telephoned this morning and asked me to stop off at Manchester-by-the-Sea to see Col. House.

That means that I leave here Sunday night, see him on Monday morning and that I may come down from Boston Monday evening.

Please don't try to meet either [page 2] Monday or Tuesday but don't be surprised if I turn up.

If Mr Straus is interested in the meeting or in seeing me again perhaps that could be arranged -- you have been awfully good about it all. Mary is really [much] better and I am cheered about her.

Hastily but always affectionately yours

Jane Addams
