W.

Thursday

Dear Miss Addams,

It was impossible tonight to speak to you after your wonderful talk so I am writing these few hurried lines hoping to recall myself [page 2] to you, as I had the great pleasure to meet you several times in America. I was so anxious to have you meet my English friends who have heard so much about you, will [page 3] you lunch with me Saturday at half past one o'clock or will you take tea with me any day you choose, [so then?] I can ask my friends to meet you.

I want you [page 4] especially to meet (if you have not met her already) Lady St. Helier who is really a great woman in many ways.

Hoping to hear from you,

believe me
Very sincerely

Alice Warren
