My dear Mrs. Blaine: --
Would it be possible for me to see you some day this week at Lake Forest about "a number of things" as the child in the poem says. There are so many but if there were none at all I should still want very much to see you, and feel that getting back to Chicago is quite incomplete without that opportunity.
