Dear Lady: --

I think the outline for the resolutions is awfully nice. We have appointed five people from the Woman's Peace Party and five from the Chicago Peace Society <to work at them [fuller?] & will send them on.>

It would not do to put me, or any other woman for that matter, on that first committee. I should like it, of course, but I know it would be a mistake. It would be too much to expect the Germans to accept.
