February 14, 1913.
Dear Madam: --
Replying to your letter of the 10th inst., permit me to say that we answered your communication of December 13th last, our reply being sent on the 17th to the Hon. John B. Andrews, Secretary of your Association, which was as follows:
Dear Mr. Andrews: --
Your letter of the 13th inst., with reference to the work of securing better factory sanitation, the extension of the workmen's compensation laws, the prevention of occupational diseases, and one day's rest in seven for all workers, at hand and contents carefully noted.
Replying thereto, permit me to say that while I am not in a position at this time to render any financial aid, I shall be pleased to give my moral support in the work and to render any assistance to your organization in this respect that I possibly can.
I wish to congratulate your organization on the good work that has already been accomplished and wish you success in your future efforts.
Yours very truly,
TPK/CL
