I don't know that I wrote you how much I prized your editorial for the Emancipation number. Mrs. Spencer says that the issue "is worth a year's subscription in itself".

Let me thank you for this, your "big job" of the year as an associate editor, and will you express my appreciation also to Miss Breckinridge, for her most excellent help?
