Beloved Lady:
Prompt as always here is your reply to my inquiry about Mr. Rosenwald and my letter to him. I am extra glad to have it back because I now detect two typographical errors which I overlooked after the original multitude were cleared up.
I have lost Miss Alexander, my faithful secretary of five years.
Herewith I return Mr. Rosenwald's letter signed.
Do let me know before you come.
Grace Abbott will be here on Wednesday. She says she still has stitches in her forehead which could be covered if she had not trained her hair so many years to go straight back. I had not heard before of a disfiguring wound. It is too bad.
All well at this end,
Yours devotedly,
