Biographical Text

William R. C. Latson was a doctor and the editor of the magazine Health Culture. He also authored numerous books and articles on health. He attended the Eclectic Medical College of New York City. Latson was a member of the Advisory Board for the American Bureau of Personal and Vocational Psychology.

Latson married Beatrice Cochrane Kountze in 1903, though they later divorced, possibly because of an affair Latson had with his secretary. Latson was found dead in his apartment from a gunshot wound in 1911.
