My dear Miss Wells:

For the past five years you have kindly sent us five dollars each year for the maintenance of our Hull-House Boys Band. With regulars and understudies the band now comprises about a hundred and ten boys who are under excellent discipline and make very good music. They have just received presents of new uniforms and are eager for the year's work.

We shall be very grateful if you feel that you can continue to contribute as in the past.
