Dear Miss [Addams]:

Enclosed find my check for one hundred dollars as per usual for the general work of Hull House and your excellent self.

So long as I am able to do it and you are at the head of Hull House, you can count on my subscription annually.

I am most anxious to see you. In fact I was in Washington Sunday, was delighted at your work with the President, but for the life of me I did not know how to locate you.

Sincerely yours,

Miss Jane Addams
