I think that Miss Breckinridge has written you of her position regarding the amendment, which is very similar to mine. I thoroughly agree with you that we should not imperil important public measures for the sake of our own propaganda.
I was not present when the resolution was passed at the meeting in January, but I shall be very glad to bring it up for discussion at the meeting of the Executive Board in March.
I very much enjoyed speaking in Madison and Milwaukee last week. There is something very nice indeed about the Wisconsin people!
