My dear Miss James:-
Since writing the enclosed letter I have received one from Miss Wagner saying that there had been no response to the meeting called for Thursday afternoon.
I am, of course, very glad if it is not necessary. If I can at any time be of any service in Wisconsin affairs I am sure you will let me know, and that you understand that I have no desire to "jump in" but was merely acting on advice from Miss Shaw and headquarters.
