Miss Jane Addams,
Hull House,
800 South Halsted Street,
Chicago, Illinois.
My dear Miss Addams:
Your letter about the Summer School Committee awaited me on my arrival in Washington.
I have suggested to Miss Woods that I thought Mollie Carroll could be enormously more helpful on the Committee than I could. They had a very successful Students' Peace Conference at Goucher College last winter, and I feel sure that she is in touch with the situation so far as the Summer School is concerned so that she could be of real use to the Committee, while I would not be.
I do hope that the bronchitis is better.
Yours sincerely,
GRACE ABBOTT.
P.S. You know, I am sure, that Miss Carroll is chairman of the Department of Economics of Goucher College.
