My dear Mrs Hicks
I am very grateful for your letters and delighted that all seems [to be] going so well.
I wrote Mrs. [O.] that it would be better for her to work in the office with the other two typewriters and that I thought she ought to get in at least five hours a day of work there. I think we will have to insist upon that as you are doing all the general things -- the residents report was fine.
I am delighted with the Coffee House report & sure it will be better for [Mrs Aspin?] to divide her vacation.
Affectionally yours Jane Addams
