Professor Cleland B. McAfee expresses his appreciation of the invitation of the Citizens Committee to attend the Civic Dinner in honor of Miss Addams on Thursday evening, January 20, and regrets that physical limitations prevent his acceptance of the invitation and joining in the honor which is so well deserved by Miss Addams.
