3. GAYTON CRESCENT,
HAMPSTEAD. N.W.

My dear Miss Addams,

I am sending you my little book in which I have rather rashly collected my views together, in the hope that possibly some of them may appeal to somebody! -- although I am very conscious of their imperfections.

If you think the book (on account of the war years) might conceivably have any value as peace propaganda I should be very glad to send you some copies to give away if you will let me know if you could make use of them [page 2] & how many?

I wonder if you are coming to England this summer & if we shall have the great pleasure of seeing you here?

I do hope this will find you well & busy & happy.

We are much interested in the review of this Beards' book on "American Civilization" & are hoping to take it down with us to our country cottage to read aloud -- we are going down next week for some time -- but it is a short motor run from London & we should rejoice to welcome you then if you came.

With our kindest greeting

Yours affectionately F. E. Hobson
