How good you all were to make up those fine surprise boxes! We enjoyed the nuts and the oranges and the delicious cookies "carnally" and were greatly refreshed spiritually by the lovely letters. My gratitude to you all for my share. Our visit to you was the greatest pleasure -- not only to be enjoyed at the time but to be remembered always. Your Aunt Jane seems very [page 2] well.
