Mr. Harold S. Lewis,
Treasurer, Governing Board,
Social Workers Country Club,
c/o Rosenthal, Mayer & Lewis, Inc.,
77 W. Washington Street,
Chicago, Ill.

Dear Mr. Lewis:

Referring to your letter of February 9th, I have talked over, with Mr. Cahn, the present financial situation of the Board of Trustees of the Social Workers Country Club, and he and I both feel, in view of the uncertainties of the future beyond April 1st, that we should send you at this time not $2000 but $1800, and I, therefore, am enclosing herewith check to your order as Treasurer of the Governing Board of the Social Workers Country Club for that amount. This is done to avoid confusion with my own bank signature, which is as Treasurer of the Social Workers Country Club.

Will you kindly keep me posted as to the progress of your membership campaign?

Also let me know when you have paid the bills and sent me a list of names and amounts as paid and balances due.

Thanking you, I am

Sincerely yours,

signed -- WILLIAM C. GRAVES
Treasurer,
Social Workers Country Club
