The Hague, Febr. 6th 1927.
My dear Miss Addams,
In the Nation of Febr. 2nd, I see that on Jan. 20th in Chicago a dinner was given in honor of you, which was attended by 1,500 guests and that more than 1000 have for lack of seating capacity have to be turned away.
I felt very glad when I read that communication, not only because you were so [honored] but also because I saw from that that your health must be in good condition. I was so afraid that you should not be [page 2] well.
I feel much better this winter after the cure in Nauheim. If I remain so well I shall even be capable to go to [Luyk?] next month.
With great love and admiration
Yours
Aletta H. Jacobs.
