WOMEN'S INTERNATIONAL LEAGUE FOR PEACE AND FREEDOM
Hull-House, October 6, 1925
My dear Dorothy Detzer:
I am very anxious that the cards should be sent out asking for the renewal of the International memberships. 906 seems ↑is↓ so near 1200 it really seems as if we ought to do it. Would you like me to compose a "reminder," sign it and send it to you? How many do you need for the current months? I really feel as though we should take our International memberships quite seriously as [the] ↑International office↓ seems so dependent on the U.S.A.
It was quite ↑very↓ nice to see you in Pennsylvania. Perhaps we will see you with Mrs. Pethick-Lawrence ↑soon in Chicago.↓
Affectionately yours,
Jane Addams [signed]
↑Please excuse this badly written letter!↓
