MRS. W. H. REGNERY
221 AYRES AVE.
HINSDALE, ILL.
Dec. 28, 1926.
My dear Miss Addams:
Received your kind invitation to attend the concert given on the 19th, regret very much that we were unable to come; due partly to the weather, and the fact that [illegible] our son from Amherst was late getting in Chicago, and we did not want him to find the home alone. Both Mr. Regnery and myself were sorry that we could not come, as know we would enjoy both the concert and seeing Hull House in her festive appearance.
Enjoyed the play you invited us to last spring at the Goodman Theatre, and often think of it.
Thanking you for remembering us, and many, many wishes for the New Year for you and what lies nearest your heart, Hull House, am,
Sincerely yours,
Frances. S. Regnery.
