NATIONAL CHILD LABOR COMMITTEE
105 EAST TWENTY-SECOND STREET, NEW YORK CITY
New York, December 26, 1911.
Miss Jane Addams,
Chicago, Ill.
My dear Miss Addams:
One of our investigators, Mrs. Parker, just came in with a report of an interesting interview she has just had with Mrs. Morrison who, as you probably know, is the successor of Mrs. Taliaferro, as the leading stage child employment agent.
Mrs. Morrison said so many <interesting> things, especially with relation to the Chicago situation that I thought you ought to have it and this memorandum is merely a summarized statement of what Mrs. Parker has given me.
Of course, this must be kept in very strict confidence as we are after other game here, but it will help you, I hope, in working out your plans there.
Cordially yours,
Owen R. Lovejoy [signed]
General Secretary
