IRISH FREE STATE.

DEPARTMENT OF EXTERNAL AFFAIRS.
DUBLIN.

16th July, 1926.

Dear Mrs. Douglas,

The Secretary of the Department of Justice will be glad to arrange for some members of the Executive of the Congress to visit the Prisons.

He suggests that a deputation not exceeding four in number and including if possible Miss Jane Addams should call on him [today] between 1:30 and 1:45 p.m. to make the formal request.

It would be convenient if you could let this department know by phone whether the hour selected is suitable to the members of the Executive in order that the arrangement may be confirmed.

Yours sincerely,

Sean [Illegible] [signed]

Mrs. James Douglas,
