Dear Miss Addams: --

There is nothing I would enjoy more than to go to Cleveland with you. Thank you very much for asking me. Where, and over what road, might you leave Chicago?  Our first meeting will be on the 29th at 2 p.m.

I am enclosing two letters Miss Marnitz sent me in reply to my letter asking for the $200 a month for one year. I believe the American Fund would give you the money as [page 2] you wish it, just for the asking.

I really do not know how badly Ms. Doty needs it, but I feel sure it will be most welcome if she gets it.

It will be good to see you again.
