My dear Mr. Kennedy:

I am always a little frightened about a publication, remembering the long hard road the Survey and other such publications have had.

It would be very nice however if you could get the subsidy to promote printing two, three or even four times ↑a year↓ of some real contribution to our cause. Perhaps it would be better if I did not write to Mr. Glenn. I will probably see him soon and put it more sympathetically than I could by writing.

If you feel however this would be bad for the situation, please let me know and I will write him, sending you a copy of the letter.

Always faithfully yours,

Jane Addams [signed]
