Geneva, Febr. 26th, 1925.
Dear Miss Addams,
Please find enclosed the Balance Sheet for the second half of 1924. As soon as I have it acknowledged by you and Mrs. Ramondt, I shall have it sent out to the sections, together with that of the first 6 months, for consideration by the Executive Meeting, which I am suggesting to be held in the first half of July, according [page 2] to your and Miss Balch’s desire.
As to Finances, may I add that $145. -- have been sent to us by the Chicago Branch for membership fees. Please kindly reduce the amount of your next [check] by it. I can suggest this [the?] move easily, as about 1400. -- francs from Germany and [francs] 1845. -- from Denmark have come in, and our expenses in January and February have not been very heavy.
In order to be quite up to the work of preparing the Executive Meeting, and because it makes a summer-vacation impossible for me, I have asked for the consent of Mme. Duchêne and Mlle. Gobat -- to go home for a short holiday now and to see my sister whose husband has died a month ago, and my mother whose 86th birthday is coming on.
Very sincerely yours
Vilma Glücklich
