WOMEN'S INTERNATIONAL LEAGUE FOR PEACE AND FREEDOM
d. 10 XII 1925
Dear Jane Addams!
Yesterday evening at 11 o'clock the following T arrived: "defer sending bulletins until receive letter. Addams sending international dues reminder. Detzer." That was not possible. Pax International No 2 was forwarded to America on Saturday 4th of December. Every Pax International No 2 for the Americans got a supplement the addition enclosed.
Madeleine Doty left the 4th XII for Paris, she was not in a very good state of health, arriving in Paris, she had to go to bed with an awful cold. No wonder, as they do not [heat] the railway [wagons] in France. -- Augspurg and I have the impression, that Madeleine feels very homely in Maison Internationale and Geneva, more homely than Balch [page 2] and Glücklich ever [did]; that is a great thing for her and for our work!
We are leaving [tomorrow] for Munich, M. Doty wants us to stay till she comes back, but that is not possible, there is [too] much to do for us in Germany. All good wishes for [Christmas] and a happy New Year for you and the whole Hull House from Anita Augspurg and
Lida Gustava Heymann.
