DEPARTMENT OF STATE
WASHINGTON
November 10, 1925.
Miss Jane Addams,
800 S. Halsted Street,
Chicago, Illinois.
Dear Miss Addams:
I am enclosing herewith a letter addressed to you which was contained in an envelope addressed to my wife with a long communication in Hungarian, a translation of which I managed to obtain and am sending to you as well, for your information.
I wrote to the Hungarian Legation about this matter and I take pleasure in quoting herewith from the letter in reply from the Counselor of the Legation:
"I can see no harm in forwarding the letter addressed to Miss Addams, but I am sorry to be unable to make any further suggestions inasmuch as the writers are unknown to the Legation."
Very sincerely yours.
