My dear Miss Addams:
May I refer you to the following minute which was passed at the Executive Committee Meeting of the National Board of the W.I.L. at Swarthmore, Pennsylvania, October 13th?
"Mrs. Richards moved, Mrs. Kind seconded, that Miss Addams, Mrs. Lewis, and Miss Balch be appointed a committee to draw up a proposed statement of the OBJECT of the League to be presented to the November Board Meeting. Carried."
