Miss Jane Addams,
Care of Mrs. Wm. I. Hull,
Swarthmore, Pennsylvania.

Dear Miss [Addams]:

I am awfully sorry to say that I am to be up in Canada on the 19th and 21st, but if you can spare the time, come in and have a talk with my associate, Mr. Cartwright, who has already discussed the matter with Miss Hamilton.

At present our advisers in the Fine Arts think we had better stick to the college field until we get some substantial result there, but sooner or later we shall have to look up the possibilities in other fields, as, for example, the settlements.

Sincerely yours,

F. P. Keppel [signed]
