Dear Mr. Baker:

May I send you the enclosed material in the hope that you will be willing to lend your name to the ↑American↓ Committee and perhaps become or secure a Life Associate of Barnett House by the payment of $100.00 Fifteen good people in the United States have already consented to do this. Eighty-five more will obtain the sum we want so much for this bit of cooperation with "Mother Oxford."
