June 24, 1925.
Dear friends,
I. Meeting of Scientists. I have to tell you the good news that Professor Langevin who is giving us his most precious support in the campaign against Scientific Warfare, would be ready to come to Innsbruck at the time of our Executive Meeting there, if he could be sure to meet some of his colleagues of about the same standing in other countries.
It seems to me that it would not be too difficult to find one prominent representative of natural science in each country, especially in those of Central Europe, who would be willing to come to Innsbruck in order to meet Professor Langevin. Will you please take information as soon as possible, and report to Mme. Duchêne, 10 Avenue [Tokyo], Paris, whether you think it possible to bring together a group of scientists who agree with our standpoint in opposing Scientific Warfare.
II. Business matter. I am sorry to say that we have been obliged to change the cheaper hotels in Innsbruck; I shall let you know in time where the room for you -- if we have felt [authorized] to do so -- has been engaged.
Sincerely yours
