Dear Mrs. Blaine:--
You kindly said the other day that you meant to send us $500.00 in December. I hope I will not be considered exigent if I remind you of that intention, for this is the time of year when our funds run lowest and demands are the heaviest. The fund for the Hull-House endowment of which I spoke to you the other day is just about completed. May I tell you some time soon of quite a new plan which we are contemplating?
