My dear Mrs. McCormick: --

I know of course that you are overwhelmed with appeals, but Miss Katharine Coman who teaches economics at Wellesley is greatly interested in the Girls School at Madrid and is most anxious to see you. She has asked me to make an appointment for her if possible and so I am venturing to write to you on her behalf. I knew Miss Gulick, the founder of the school, very well and had the pleasure of visiting the School when it was still in San Sebastian. It has really made a wonderful development.

With all the good wishes of the season, I am

Faithfully yours,

Jane Addams. [signed]
