Dear Miss Jane Addams,
There is a movement on foot amongst the Women of Wales to organize a Memorial from the Women of Wales to the Women of the United States of America.
I beg to enclose a pamphlet explaining the Memorial & also a copy of the first draft of the text.
Already there are signs that the movement will be taken up with enthusiasm & that the Memorial will be signed by Women in every town and village of the Principality.
We should be sincerely grateful if you could very kindly help us (1) by letting us know what you think of the terms of the Memorial itself; & (2) by advising us how best to proceed when we have the Memorial ready for presentation to the Women of the United States.
