Biographical Text

Alexander Johnson was born in England and immigrated to the United States in 1873. He was the President of the National Conference of Charities and Correction in 1896 and Secretary in 1910. Johnson was also the Superintendent of the Indiana School For Feeble Minded Youths.

Johnson married Eliza Ann Johnson in 1872. They had five children together. Johnson died in 1941.
