My dear Miss Addams:

The Board of Trustees of the University of Chicago Settlement at their last regular meeting, November 20, 1922, voted the following motion which I have the honor to transmit to you.

"Voted that: it be made a matter of record that Five Thousand ($5,000.00) Dollars has been received from the Hull House Association in the form of a check for Five Thousand ($5,000.00) Dollars representing a bequest from the Schwabacher estate which this Board accepts as a fund to be applied for work for boys in the Stockyard District. The Secretary of the Board is directed to send a transcript of this record to the Hull House Association acknowledging receipt of the same."
