To the Secretaries of The Young Men's Christian Associations in Foreign Lands

Dear Friends:

It gives me great pleasure to introduce Miss Jane Addams of Hull House, Chicago, who is leaving for Europe today to attend a meeting of the "Women's International League for Peace and Freedom", after which she is [traveling] to India and the Far East where she wishes to get a look into conditions in these interesting countries. I am confident that it will give you much pleasure to meet Miss Addams, and to hear of her own great work here in America and throughout the world. Any courtesies you may show to her and her [traveling] companion, Miss Mary Smith, will be greatly appreciated.

Very sincerely yours,

J R Mott [signed]
