Sir Eric Drummond,
Secretary General of the
League of Nations.
Geneva.

March 22, 1922.

Dear Sir,

The Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom has always taken much interest in the service that women might be able to render through the League of Nations. I therefore venture to express to you our earnest hope that in all questions of appointment or promotion in the Secretariat of the League women will be given the same consideration as men and that, in especial, no difference will be made between men and women in the appointment of Directors and members of A. & B. Sections.

I have the honor to be,

Yours truly,
